dA: House of Marked Cards.dA's policies on tracing (oops, did I say "tracing"? I meant "vectoring") are laughable, to say the very least. And what's worse, the lumping in of all fan artists with hacks, copiers, and tracers, quite frankly (and pardon my French) pisses me right the fuck off.
It flies in the face of American copyright law. It flies in the face of international copyright law. And it flies in the face of good old common sense.
Funny how the staff here sees fit to erase near to every penis that dares bobble into their sight, yet does nothing about entire galleries full of traced artwork that the artists are not only claiming is their own, but are actually making money off of...
Personally, I find the boners far less offensive.
So, I, too, am permanently retreating from this place (not that anyone really gives a shit). Those who are already watching me elsewhere already know where I can be found. And if you're under 18, don't even bother. I've had enough of a crisis of conscience about posting some of my upcoming stuff at places like dethslash.com as it is, since there are no age restriction rules in place...
